A little after I started working on the first pair of cable socks, I felt very comfortable with the cable knitting and loved the way it came out using my cotton yarn. I wanted to make a wooly pair of cable socks on my next sock project.  The 6th pair was up on the needle while the cotton cable pair were on the go. We had these heavy rainy days, two weeks ago. They came after a few days of dusty, desert-y, dry winds – not nice weather at all. So when the rain came, heavier as it was, it brought kind of a relief. It was when I came back from one of my ‘kids driver’ jobs, that I found this ‘expressive arts’ waiting for me right next to our parking spot, right on the line between ours and our neighbours parking spot. I have this absolutely highly sensitive ear/heart for music. I’m sort of addicted to music. Music can easily make me happy, fill my heart with gladness, fly me to the moon.
